Seismic refraction tomography: SH-waves 2D section / Tomografia sismica a rifrazione: sezioni 2D onde SH

Seismic refraction is a geophysical technique used to explore the subsoil. In practice it is observed that, elastic waves generated artificially from the surface, propagate within the rocks according to the laws of reflection and refraction. The final result is a model of seismic velocity that describes the geometrical disposition of the geological layers, their thickness and some physical-mechanical parameters.
